I am a PhD Student at the University of Birmingham, researching Modelling Flexibility in Future UK Energy Systems. I have narrowed my knowledge scope into the Energy Sector with this PhD, but also benefit from a well-rounded Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. Utilising the Python programming language for my research.
I am a specialist in renewable energy technology, its integration into current energy systems, and the future of energy use globally, alongside advanced modelling techniques for forecasting and network modelling. Specifically, I am interested in predictive analysis of energy systems to visualise future scenarios and direct society towards the most realistic net-zero goals.
I have several years of experience supporting teaching at the higher education level, in online and hybrid formats. My teaching experience involves large scale lecturing, but also 1:1 mentoring and tutoring of engineering students. My teaching responsibilities also include marking written assignments at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and providing effective feedback to ensure student development. I am seeking further tutoring opportunities relating to mathematics and engineering, to diversify my experience.
I am offering tutoring in Chemical Engineering up to and including Masters level. Python programming at all levels, as well as SQL and other complementary languages and programmes.
An excellent tutor, helped me gain clarity on the areas which which I was struggling and was very knowledgeable
