Online History Tutor Nicola

I am an Oxford Univeristy graduate, who has studied the medieval Mediterranean. My research has been presented at more than fifty conferences and won several prizes. I have been a private tutor for the last five years and I have taught History IGCSE, IB, A-Levels and GCSE, working with students with a wide range of experience, sitting for exams with an array of different exam boards.
I have been a tutor for students who needed some extra help to excel, students who struggled to understand more advanced topics, students affected by ADHD and student-athletes.

My Teaching Philosophy:
I have helped students from different background. My teaching philosophy is providing students with key concepts and helping them constantly. I believe that a successful tutor must be able to provide feedback timely and teach good exam techniques so that students can practice, ideally using past exam papers. I adapt my teaching style based on the students who require my service, and I always try to include different type of media, such as images, in my lessons. I am very keen to teach people whose native language is not English as well, having adapted myself to this challenge when I moved to the UK from Italy.
