About Me
I am a full-time private tutor and registered Dental surgeon with over 500 hours of extensive experience tutoring in Chemistry and Biology at well-established independent tutoring agencies. I gained a first-class honours degree in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Exeter graduating in the top 10% of my class. I then secured 4 interviews for graduate Dentistry from which I graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Dental surgery. I have helped countless individuals secure places at the most competitive universities focussing on admission tests, interview preparation (MMI) and academic scores. I have experience tutoring Chemistry at GCSE and A-Level and I am familiar with the exam boards OCR, AQA and Edexcel.

*The Biocatalytic Processing of Drug Intermediates from Renewable Substrates. The Biocatalytic Processing of Drug Intermediates from Renewable Substrates
Final year project, detailing the isolation and efficiency of 10 different CAR's (carboxylic acid reductase) enzymes using renewable substrates. The project took place over final year and involved the isolation, purification and culturing of each CAR enzyme. This project was ran in tandem with one other final year student, the results of which were incorporated into the published paper 'Characterization of Carboxylic Acid Reductases as Enzymes in the Toolbox for Synthetic Chemistry' (2016).
*The characterisation of small molecules in plant pathogens.
6-week summer student scholarship funded by the BMSS and BSPP.
