My Mission:
I understand how hard it can be to manage the weight of all of your subjects, particularly during exam season. My aim is to provide a supportive learning environment, structured around the specific needs of each student.
So, whether you need extra support to keep up with your classes or the confidence to achieve your exam goals, I'll be there to support you.
About me:
First and foremost, I am an enthusiastic, educated individual, with a passion for teaching. I have an academic background in Biochemistry (BSc., MSc.) and I am currently completing my Ph.D in Molecular Biology and Genetics. Collectively, I have 7-years of scientific research experience and 5-years experience mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate Biology and Biomedical Science students.
My teaching style:
My teaching resources are homemade, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs. I dedicate time outside of sessions to prepare lesson programmes and personalised content and for all my students.
For undergraduate and postgraduate support, I identify knowledge gaps and provide goal-driven progression.
For GCSE and A-level students, I provide targeted exam preparation across UK exam boards, focusing on specification content and exam technique.
For younger learners, I take a holistic approach to teaching. Together, we look at themes from across science and maths to build a strong academic foundation and boost curiosity and confidence.

☆ 5-years' experience mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students
☆ 7-years' experience in research science (molecular and developmental biology)
☆ Published author in peer-reviewed scientific journals

We had a lesson on the Menstrual cycle. Really really helpful today, as the gap is not that I don't understand the information being studied; it is a) retaining and recall and applying it. So, Rebecca made some test exam questions and we went through it. I shall complete the rest for homework. It was at times hard to hear; no fault of Rebecca's - but she had building work going on.
The lesson was visual, in the way of a technique to make stories and it is helping. We had a very good lesson of Reproduction......Follicular and lut phases.
