About Me
Hello, potential future students! I am tutor Daniel, great to meet you!
I am a tutor with over 2 years of experience, I am currently employed as a Teaching Associate at the University of Manchester, where I am also a 3rd year PhD candidate in Geosciences.
I love to teach - helping my students achieve their highest potential is always my aim, but I also want my students to enjoy our lessons, and hopefully, develop a passion for the subject. My current and past students say I am enthusiastic, professional and very friendly.

Tutor Experience
- Teaching Associate, University of Manchester (2022-Present).
My main role in this position is as a tutor to MSc students in Pollution and Environmental Control, where I work with (~25 per year) students as a tutor for their final dissertations. In this role, I give lectures, tutorials, general dissertation guidance, and proofread and mark dissertations. I also assist in course design and preparation, as well as various other undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities, such as laboratory and fieldwork and lecturing.
- Online Tutor, The Overseas Teacher (June 2020 – September 2020).
As an online tutor, I was teaching English to children in China aged 4-17. As part of this role, I gained a 120-hour TEFL qualification. This role was both challenging and extremely fulfilling, allowing me to develop my organisation, timekeeping and interpersonal skills.
