About Me
I am a qualified educator with a focus on the STEM subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) with experience teaching the Cambridge syllabus at IGCSE and A level and experience with the South African CAPS syllabus (grades 10-12) for Physical Sciences, Life Sciences and Mathematics. I enjoy learning about the world around me and sharing that knowledge with others. I am passionate and outgoing, and enjoy working with learners to develop not just their ability to answer exam questions but also their logic skills and their understanding of the connectedness of the world around them.
Tutor Experience
I have taught and tutored Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics both online and in person for the past three years. I teach with a focus on constructivism and practical application, building the foundation from where a learner is at and developing their practical and logic-based skills using real-world examples, as well as visual and interactive media to aid with their understanding. I am also experienced at aiding students with exam preparation for these subjects.
