Over the course of my career, I have developed expertise in teaching AQA specification A-level and GCSE. I have worked with students, examiners and colleagues to develop engaging and highly effective strategies for teaching Psychology using psychology, e.g. the latest research into memory, attention and motivation.

As a tutor, I will help you identify your drive, set goals and devise strategies to overcome any barriers you face. I will personalise your learning, make your course content interesting and accessible, show you how to get the marks for different types of questions, and explore your own ideas and interests in Psychology.

You will benefit from expert guidance on academic literacy to improve your outcomes and increase your prospects of success at university and beyond. If you want to pursue Psychology beyond A-level, I will be delighted to advise you on pathways, support your applications and help you to achieve the grades you need, typically A*-B; I can also support Extended Projects to help you win the place you want.

If you need support for English language or literacy skills, I can help; for example, if English is an additional language for you, or if you are dyslexic, I can tailor your tuition to suit your needs.

I can also provide specialist support for your learning if you have ADHD, autism/ASD, social emotional mental health (SEMH) needs, physical or learning disabilities, or other SEND.
