Hi, I’m Jaz!
I’m a fourth-year medical student at the University of Cambridge with over four years of tutoring experience. Over the years, I’ve helped many students achieve top grades in their exams and secure places at leading universities. I enjoy working with students of all abilities and tailoring sessions to individual needs, whether the goal is improving confidence, reaching top marks, or preparing for competitive applications.
Academically, I hold a First Class degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge, alongside 4 A* grades at A level and 12 grade 9s at GCSE. This background allows me to offer not just subject knowledge, but also strategies for effective revision, exam technique, and long-term academic success.
In my free time I enjoy rowing for my college at university as well spending time learning Mandarin Chinese.
I've been a tutor for 4 years and I’ve helped many students achieve top grades in their exams and gain offers from leading universities. My tutoring style focuses on building strong foundations from first principles, encouraging deep understanding of a topic rather than rote memorisation, an approach most students find extremely useful. The first half of a session largely focuses on theory and the why behind a topic which is then followed by past paper questions to apply the knowledge we have just consolidated. With regards to Oxbridge/Medical school admissions I offer mock interviews as well as guidance for your application including feedback on personal statements.
