About Me
Born in Leicester, England, I am now living in Argentina after spending the last 20 years of my working life as a Head Teacher here. A healthy body supports a healthy mind, so I am still very active as I play football, tennis and golf weekly. I also enjoy cooking, reading and tinkering with my 1928 Ford A Vintage car. I now travel extensively with my wife, however it is my intention to organise our travels around any student commitments I may undertake. In my life away from teaching I drove a number 12 London double decker bus for a year (1979) and obtained my Private Pilot’s licence in 1984.
Tutor Experience
I have taught GCSE/IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Mathematics in the UK and overseas for more than 40 years. I am now retired, and I would like to use my vast experience to support any student who is studying for the IGCSE/GCSE Mathematics examinations. I love mathematics and try to teach it in a way that inspires my students to enjoy it too. I will teach in English, however I can also support the students in Spanish.
I am the IGCSE Mathematics Facilitator for ESSARP, an organisation that represent all the schools in Argentina whose students sit for the exam, so I have all the necessary resources at my disposal.
