I am a full-time professional tutor based in Central London with over four years of experience and more than 150 students supported to date. For the past two years, I have been tutoring full-time, after consistently tutoring for two years while completing my Master’s degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
I specialise in Economics and Business at both GCSE and A-level. On average, my long-term GCSE students achieve a two-grade improvement, while my A-level students consistently meet or exceed their predicted grades. I have extensive experience across exam boards, including AQA, CIE, Edexcel and IAL.
Beyond exam preparation, I also provide mentoring and support with university applications, including guidance on writing strong personal statements. My approach is interactive, flexible, and tailored to each student’s unique needs. I aim to build confidence, strengthen subject knowledge, and encourage independent learning — giving students the skills to excel both academically and beyond.
I offer sessions Monday to Friday and also volunteer with tutoring charities to give back and support students from diverse backgrounds. Whether working towards exam success, developing long-term study skills, or preparing for university, I am committed to helping every student reach their full potential.
I have accumulated over 2,000 hours of tutoring experience, working with students aged 7 to 46 in Business Studies, Economics, English, and Mathematics across School Entrance Exams (11+), GCSEs, and A-levels. Having studied and worked in Dubai, Hong Kong, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, I am passionate about supporting students from diverse backgrounds to set and achieve their goals. My teaching style is interactive, flexible, and tailored to each learner, with a particular strength in breaking down complex concepts into clear, accessible explanations. I focus on building confidence while encouraging independent learning and lifelong study skills.
My international academic and professional experiences further strengthen my tutoring. As a Global MiM student at LSE, I developed strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills — ranking in the top 5% of my cohort and leading a consulting project for the UK charity Rare Disease Nurse Network. Through internships at UBP in Dubai and Geneva, I gained experience in financial and commercial due diligence, working with stakeholders across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. These experiences enhanced my communication, leadership, and adaptability, which I bring to every tutoring relationship.

My experience with Shyrose (my tutor)My experience with Shyrose (my tutor was great. She is very knowledgeable, and open minded when tutoring me, constantly asking if im okay with the topic covered. She is always willing to re-explain concepts I dont understand, and uses real life examples and simplified versions of concepts to help you understand them. She constantly asks you questions to keep you engaged but is also willing to guide you through the content aswell.
