About Me
I'm from Kent and studied my undergraduate degree at Oxford University. I went on to work in social care with adults with learning disabilities in London but during Covid decided to pursue my real passion of teaching! I trained with UCL and have worked full time ever since in London as a secondary school English teacher.
I know the pressures and struggles of looming exams but also younger years and always put my students' at the centre of what I do. I've worked with a range of students with a big range of abilities and needs. I want to make learning enjoyable so that students go off with a natural curiosity, as well as great results.
Tutor Experience
I have experience tutoring students in both primary and secondary school, online and in person as well as being a secondary school English teacher.
This summer I will also be marking the AQA English Language GCSE exam!
