Online English Tutor Sarah

I am a creative and passionate English teacher. All of my tutoring is tailored to the needs of each individual student. I assess the specific areas they need to work on to develop these skills in order to enable them to reach the highest level of attainment. I then gradually help them to improve their skills using consolidation and progression at a pace to suit them. I build a strong rapport with all of my students by finding out about their interests and preferred learning styles together with using humour and every day analogies to help them to access material. I prepare thoroughly in advance for all sessions and teach using a wide range of spoken, written and visual approaches, I always give students a clear area of focus for their written assessments and give prompt detailed written and verbal feedback. I then follow up on any areas that still need development in subsequent teaching and assessments.
In my spare time I enjoy practising yoga, going to the gym, watching exciting new plays and films and taking long walks in the countryside. I also enjoy spending time with my two grown up sons - when they are available!
