About Me
I am a doctoral researcher at QMUL.
I have an undergraduate degree in Biology from QMUL and a postgraduate degree in Epidemiology from Imperial.
I have given training sessions to postgraduate studies (~30 students) throughout this year, receiving excellent feedback on teaching style and communication.
I have experience teaching tutorials using STATA and SPSS, for individuals requiring assistance for dissertations, theses and research projects. I can teach basic to expert statistical techniques, using STATA and SPSS.
I have worked on a range of projects which have required different approaches to data management, cleaning and analysis.
Tutor Experience
This is for anyone who needs help with mainly STATA but I can also help if you are more familiar with excel or other statistical platforms, such as SPSS and R.
As a tutor, my aim is to keep things as simple as possible. I am extremely laid back and approachable, and very happy for the client to steer the direction of the lesson if preferred, as well as the pace.
My teaching method will be structured around what exactly the client needs, whether it be, for example, guidance with specific techniques using STATA or a simple introduction to STATA, I will provide bespoke content to ensure client satisfaction and optimal learning. Communication is key, and students should let me know if they don't understand a particular topic or need more examples to aid them.
