I currently work as a PhD student in the Astronomy Unit at Queen Mary University of London. My research focuses on early universe cosmology and inflationary physics with a particular interest in primordial black holes and gravitational waves.
I have a wide range of interests in Physics, Mathematics and even Philosophy having read for both Physics and Philosophy and Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at Oxford. I find so many things about the universe we live in fascinating and I'm keen to share what I've learned and cultivate a similar passion with my students.
I also run a small YouTube channel "Shots in The Quark" where I talk about topics in Philosophy of Physics that I think A-level students should explore.
I am a very experienced tutor with professional teaching experience. I have been tutoring students of all abilities for over 7 years. I have an excellent rapport with all my students and tailor my sessions to suit their individual needs.
Between my Masters and PhD I worked as a full-time mathematics teacher at a high-performing secondary school in London. There I taught a range of classes: from a bottom set Year 9, to a top set Year 12. I also participated in teaching workshops to develop my core skills as a teacher with a focus on improving students' grades.
I can teach A Level, IGCSE/GCSE, IB, Pre-U for virtually any exam board (Edexcel, OCR, AQA). I also offer coaching for the PAT and Oxbridge interviews.
I am an expert in Physics and Mathematics. I have experience tutoring these subjects at all levels from key stage 4 to undergraduate level.
Thanks! Was helpful :)
Very helpful, went over past paper topics I struggled with and explained them clearly.
