Over the past two years, I have worked full-time as a tutor, supporting students in science subjects as well as guiding medicine applicants. Many of my students have gone on to secure places at highly competitive universities.

I have first-hand experience of the medicine application process, having applied twice myself. In both 2023 and 2024, I achieved top 1% scores in the UCAT (3330 B1 and 3270 B1) and attended both panel and MMI interviews. In 2025, I received an offer to study Graduate Medicine at the University of Cambridge. I now continue tutoring part-time alongside my studies.

I have experience supporting a wide range of applicants - UK and international, undergraduate and graduate entry, first-time applicants and reapplicants, as well as students who were disappointed with earlier UCAT results. No matter your background or starting point, I can help you find a clear strategy and build confidence in your application.

UCAT preparation – as a two-time top 1% scorer I cover time-saving strategies, high and low-priority questions, and detailed feedback of practice questions and mocks across all four subtests.

Personal statements – I help students identify the most valuable experiences and qualities to include, and guide them in writing reflectively rather than just listing achievements. I know what admissions tutors are really looking for, the common clichés to avoid, and how to present your strengths in a way that feels authentic and compelling.

Interview preparation – I have sat a total of 8 medicine interviews including both MMIs and panels. We can discuss the types of questions likely to come up, structured ways to answer, essential prior knowledge (e.g. of ethics and law), work experience reflections, and pitfalls to avoid.

Application strategy – support with choosing universities that play to your strengths based on your GCSE profile, A-levels (or equivalent), UCAT, and wider preferences and experiences
