I am an academic foundation doctor working in London, recently graduated from the University of Oxford. I am experienced in mentoring medical school applicants and biology/chemistry GCSE and A levels students. I received offers from 3 universities for medicine and obtained a first in my intercalated year (BA Medical Sciences, University of Oxford), with additional merits in all my clinical examinations. I really enjoy helping students through the UCAT, personal statement writing and interview preparation, both Oxbridge and non-Oxbridge, and many of my students have gone on to study medicine at prestigious universities.
I also have extensive experience tutoring GCSE and A level biology and chemistry, and can cater for students of all levels of aptitude and confidence. My lessons are as interactive as possible, and I try to incorporate exam question practice into every session.
I have over 1000 hours of tutoring experience . Having coached hundreds of students through medicine admissions, I have lots of tips and tricks for acing the UCAT and interview in order to gain a place at a top medical school. Working for the University of Oxford's admissions department on their access program UNIQ, and as a Medicine Tutor at Worcester College, I know exactly what medical admissions tutors are looking for.
Having tutored biology and chemistry GCSE/A level for 8 years, I am experienced with most exam boards and can cater to students of every ability. I particularly enjoy helping students improve their confidence and surpass their predicted grades.
