I am an experienced teacher, tutor and trainer. I have worked in social policy, social services and the charity and community sector. I really enjoy walking my dog, joining in social events and playing and listening to music. I am totally committed to life long learning and I'm a good example - I'm a university student doing a PhD.
I am a qualified teacher and have taught in schools, home education settings, universities and adult education over the past 20 years. I teach English, English Literature and Sociology GCSE, A level and undergraduate. I'm dedicated to enabling students to make sense of the content and supporting skills development to demonstrate knowledge and understanding. This means I look for engaging activities and discussions throughout the course and real life examples to help with understanding and analysis. I will work with you to identify the areas of particular support you need and to give you confidence in your knowledge and skills.
