Role : Visiting IT Lecturer
Taught BCS Level 3 & Level 4 Courses for IT.
My approach to teaching CCNA/IT courses
I focused on the student's active construction of knowledge. I provided the students with the resources they need to learn, but the students were responsible for actively constructing their own understanding.
My second approach was focused on solving real-world problems. I presented the students with a problem and the students work together to find a solution. This approach helps students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
My third approach focused on completing a project. I provided the students with a project brief and the students work together to complete the project. This approach helps students to develop a range of skills, including research, collaboration, and communication.
I am a qualified IT teacher with over 15 years of experience. I have taught IT at all levels, from GCSE to university. I can teach AQA, OCR, BCS exam boards.
My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that students learn best when they are engaged and challenged. I use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, group work, and hands-on projects. I also believe in providing students with regular feedback and encouragement.
