My objective as teacher is to motivate my students to develop their own learning interests and critical thinking. Teaching a wide range of courses has made me aware of the need and interests of a student body. I was teaching and preparing students for their IGCSE, GCSE and A levels Physics the last ten years. Moreover, from 2018 to 2022 I was teaching IGCE and Physics A levels at Aspire Private British School in Paphos. Additionally, during those years, I was teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students from different universities that they were facing difficulties and need help in different Physics courses. My experience from university courses was achieved as a teaching assistant in two courses during my PhD route. From July 2022 I am working as Medical Physicist at Nuclear Medicine Department in German Oncology Center.
As a result, the lessons are prepared always considering the interconnection between the student’s own knowledge and learning abilities. The content and activities are chosen to be significant and challenging for the students so that they are stimulated to think beyond their comfort zone and feel involved in their own learning process. Finally, the exercises and class discussions are based to encourage students to make connections between the field of study that they are studying and other disciplines.
I have been teaching IGCSE, GCSE, International A levels the last ten years. I am teaching online from COVID-19 pandemic and onwards. From 2018 - 2022, i was teaching IAL and IGCE Physics at a private British School in Cyprus (more than 100 students) with excellent results (minimum grade B for A levels and 8/9 for IGCSE,GCSE). During my PhD, i was teaching as scientific assistant bachelor subjects related to Engineering, Mechanics, Electricity.
I am tutoring Physics for more than 10 years.
