About Me
I am an enthusiastic Computer Science teacher who enjoys running and cycling. I am originally from Barcelona but have lived abroad for the last 7 years now. I have travelled to over 70 countries to date.
Tutor Experience
A UK certified teacher with many years of international teaching experience in Computer Science and ICT. This experience comes from international schools in China and most recently Egypt. I have been teaching Computer science across all curriculums: IBDP (HL and SL), A levels, IGCSE and also ICT to IGCSE and to KS3. I am an examiner for the IBDP computer science, assessing Internal Assessments (IA’s) and for IGCSE computer science (Paper 1 and 2) and most recently for A level computer science (OCR).
My past experience in the IT industry as a programmer has given me the expertise to teach these various curriculums which I thoroughly enjoy. I am particularly passionate about programming and have tutored students in Java and Python. I have also tutored students focusing on the Internal Assessment (IA). I have had much success with my students earning very high scores in exams (A level) and IBDP and in their Internal Assessments (IA's) in Computer Science.
