Online Statistics Tutor Matthew

I have been tutoring consistently since completing my A-levels, tailoring the intensity of my teaching around my own studies. I provide both one-to-one and group tuition across a wide range of levels, from early secondary school through to university courses.

I have extensive experience (over 10 years) teaching GCSE and A-level Mathematics, and I am comfortable with the syllabi of all major exam boards. My particular expertise is in the Edexcel and MEI courses. I have taught both Ordinary and Further Mathematics at A-level, covering all major components, including statistics, mechanics, and decision mathematics.

During my PhD, I ran tutorials in Mathematics and Statistics for students across multiple disciplines. This included computer practicals using R, covering topics from basic data entry to complex simulations and modeling. I am happy to provide tutoring in R programming and can tailor lessons from absolute beginners to advanced applications.

I aim to deliver engaging, personalized, and results-driven tuition, helping students build confidence, deepen understanding, and achieve their academic goals.

Specific Learning Needs Support (SpLD): Experienced in adapting lessons for students with Dyspraxia, dyslexia, and other learning differences, creating structured, empathetic, and accessible learning environments.
