I have experience in maths teaching across all levels.
I have taught in three different secondary schools, covering all abilities.
Since working as a full-time tutor I have tutored students in KS3, GCSE and A Level, and have extensive experience through several agencies. In the last academic year I tutored a total of 26 students.

My main area of expertise is Higher Level GCSE, where I am familiar with both the AQA and Edexcel curricula, and have taught students who have achieved grades 8 and 9.
As a maths graduate, my subject knowledge is excellent, and through many years of experience I am able to explain difficult concepts in a variety of ways for students.
Being an examiner gives me particular insight into exam content, and this helps me to support students as they approach their exams.
My greatest tutoring successes have been:
Filling in gaps for students who have not achieved as well as they could have done in end of year exams or in mocks.
Working with students to apply their knowledge to exam questions.
