I am a qualified Secondary Maths and Economics teacher with experience teaching and tutoring students across GCSE and A-Level. My classroom background, combined with extensive one-to-one support, allows me to deliver lessons that are structured, focused, and carefully tailored to each student’s individual needs. I aim to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building genuine understanding.
Having navigated ADHD personally, I bring a particularly mindful and empathetic approach to my teaching. I believe that with the right guidance, consistent effort, and clear structure, any grade is achievable. My lessons are interactive and engaging, encouraging students to think critically and develop independence rather than simply memorising methods. Alongside strengthening mathematical understanding, I place strong emphasis on exam technique — including time management, reducing avoidable errors, and strategies for tackling unfamiliar questions.
Outside of teaching, I am a certified yoga instructor and run a small NGO.
Finding the right tutor is important, so I welcome the opportunity to arrange a short introductory call to see whether we would be a good fit.
I look forward to supporting you on your mathematical journey!
I have experience tutoring Mathematics across primary and secondary levels, supporting students preparing for entrance exams, GCSE, and IGCSE. From 2020–2021, I worked in person with a mixed-ability IGCSE student from Roedean School, strengthening core topic understanding, improving exam technique, and building confidence, which contributed to the student achieving a Grade 6. I have since delivered online tuition for a GCSE Foundation resit student, focusing on targeted topic revision, structured exam practice, and reducing avoidable errors under timed conditions. I currently tutor a Year 9 student following the GCSE curriculum, supporting homework performance, consolidating key concepts early, and developing strong exam foundations ahead of KS4.
My experience spans a range of abilities — from students who find Mathematics challenging and require structured reinforcement of fundamentals, to those aiming to secure and exceed target grades. I also provide primary-level support for entrance exam preparation, helping students build fluency, reasoning skills, and mathematical confidence at an early stage.
My teaching approach is structured, strategic, and outcome-driven. I break complex topics into clear, logical steps while ensuring students understand the underlying concepts rather than memorising procedures. Lessons integrate exam-style questions, retrieval practice, diagnostic questioning, and regular progress checks to ensure measurable improvement. Alongside subject knowledge, I emphasise exam technique, time management, and problem-solving resilience — equipping students not only to improve their grades, but to approach Mathematics with clarity and confidence.
