I’m a specialist A-Level Maths and Further Maths tutor with over 3000 hours of 1:1 experience, and a First Class degree in Physics from Imperial College London. I’m also a qualified teacher (PGCE, Distinction), giving me both deep subject knowledge and a strong understanding of how students learn.

I’ve worked with a wide range of students — from those aiming to boost their grade to those targeting A* and top university places — and I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual.
I have over 3000 hours of 1:1 online tutoring experience in A-Level Maths and Further Maths across all major UK exam boards.
My students consistently achieve strong results, including A*s in A-Level Maths and Further Maths. I have supported students in improving by multiple grade boundaries within 6–12 months, as well as helping high-achieving students secure places at top universities, including Imperial College London and the University of Bath.
Alongside tutoring, I completed a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics (Distinction), where I taught across KS3–KS5 and developed structured, adaptive teaching methods that I now apply in my 1:1 sessions. I have also been the lead further maths teacher in a London sixth form.
I have experience teaching mathematical programming concepts (e.g. Python, C/C++, modelling, numerical methods), which I use where helpful to deepen understanding.
My lessons are highly personalised, with a focus on:
• building confidence early
• developing clear, repeatable methods and modes of inquiry for handling unfamiliar problems
• preparing students for the most challenging A-Level exam questions
When a topic is new, I explain and demonstrate key ideas clearly and step-by-step. However, I quickly move students into active problem-solving, as this is the only way to build genuine understanding. 𝘚𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 — 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴.

By building checking into the problem-solving process, students become more accurate, more confident, and less reliant on external reassurance.
Throughout lessons, I aim to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable thinking deeply, making mistakes, and improving. Over time, this leads to greater independence and stronger long-term results.
