About Me
I am an experienced tutor who comes from a languages background (French and Spanish) but over time, have added a range of subjects to my tutoring portfolio.
Due to my patient nature as a tutor, I have a number of tutees who are SEN. Given my background in languages, I also work with a number of families from outside of the UK, who seem to appreciate the context both practically and academically for the assessments that dictate school entry in the UK.
Alongside tutoring, I am a theatre director. Both of these professions have one main thing in common: helping people realize their potential. I believe it is my job to know the final target of each of my students and to help them reach it through a highly personalized tutoring.
Tutor Experience
I have been tutoring since 2011 to present, with jobs ranging from early learners through to adult classes and undergraduates. Over that time, I have taught across a range of subjects but tend to specialise in languages (Spanish and French), English, Maths, 11+, 13+, SAT and Oxbridge entry.
I have successfully coached pupils looking to enter top UK Independent schools including Eton, Harrow, St. Paul’s and Winchester, alongside other top boarding schools. Students that I have tutored have gained places at top schools, GCSE/A Level examinations and universities such as Oxford, Cambridge and within the USA too.
In terms of international placements, I have worked in Germany, Chile, Monaco, Moscow and in the UK.
Topic Expertise
I have a lot of experience teaching 11+/13+ and have become quite an expert on the latest demands of the online examination.
French and Spanish continue to be passions of mine and I genuinely enjoy teaching these across all levels.
Essay writing and structuring is something that I enjoy and continue to tutor those who are doing undergraduate in this skillset.
Given my background in theatre, I have a number of Drama students as well as those doing their LAMDA exams.
