About Me
Engaging and organised tutor with current experience as an A Level Geography teacher and examiner. I have 13 years teaching experience at key stages three, four and five. I have been an examiner for 6 years.
My tutoring approach is to focus on improving exam technique and understand difficult content, to gain higher grades. This includes:
- Deconstructing command words
- Analysing model answers
- Marking student work and suggesting improvements
- Co-planning essays with the student
- Using a variety of techniques (quizzing, modelling, diagrams) to break down difficult content
