About Me
I am a postgraduate student with a first-class English degree and MSt with Distinction from Oxford University. I am happy to work with students of all ages and abilities, and have particular familiarity with preparing for GCSE and A-Level English. I also have experience in preparing for Oxbridge entrance examinations and interviews. I have previously worked with children who have complex special needs
Tutor Experience
I aim to teach via a collaborative approach, working with students to identify which learning method best suits them. I have taught students of all ages.
Topic Expertise
I have particular expertise in tutoring students for GCSE and A-Level English examinations, as well as Oxbridge preparation.
I am able to teach a wide selection of GCSE and A-Level set texts, but have particular familiarity with Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Othello, Jane Eyre, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, The Great Gatsby, The Handmaid's Tale, A Streetcar Named Desire, Top Girls, Skirrid Hill, and Never Let Me Go. I am also happy to teach across exam boards.
