Hello, I am Saskia. I have been working part time as a tutor for the last 5 years and as an Oxbridge admissions mentor for the last three years. 100% of my mentees have achieved Oxbridge interviews. I have also been working as a chef, both commercially and privately, for 5 years.
I enjoy playing social team sports, especially Hockey, Tennis and Football. I love the theatre, both reading and watching plays. As a teenager I entered several robotics competitions, though more recently my interests have moved towards AI ethics and safety. My interests are broad and varied, fuelled by a love for reading and learning which is a passion I aim to share with all of my clients!
I have over five years of tutoring experience in which time I have taught:
- 11+ (all four components)
- Maths (KS1-GCSE; various curricula)
- English Literature (KS1-A Level; various curricula)
- English Language (KS1-GCSE; various curricula)
- French (Primary School)
- University Admissions (for humanities and politics subjects)
- University Undergraduate essay reviewing and advice
I have experience tutoring students with SEND plans, as well as classroom refusers, students aiming for top grades, and working with students from an age range of 6 to 22.
I have taught all major UK Exam Boards.
My specialities include A Level Coursework (I achieved 100% in mine) as well as University Admissions, including Oxbridge.
