About Me

Hi! I’m an Associate Professor (PhD) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, "Carol Davila" University in Bucharest. With over 15 years in academia, I’ve spent my career turning the "scary" parts of Pharmacology into clear, actionable knowledge.
I’ve followed the full academic path since 2009, so I know exactly where students usually get stuck. Whether you’re a Medical or Pharmacy student, I can help you with:
- Mastering the basics: Pharmacokinetics and dynamics made simple.
- Exam excellence: Specialized coaching for USMLE, MIR (Spain), and the French Internat.
- Clinical confidence: Learning how to apply drug mechanisms to real patients.
I love using modern tools to keep things engaging. Plus, we can work together in English, French, or Spanish. My goal is to help you stop memorizing and start understanding!

Tutor Experience

My career is dedicated to teaching Pharmacology to students in their clinical years (Years III-V) and providing advanced training for Clinical Pharmacy residents and licensed professionals.

Academic Teaching & Training:
Clinical focus: I specialize in teaching students (Years III-V) how to apply pharmacological principles to complex clinical scenarios.
Professional mentorship: I have extensive experience training Clinical Pharmacy residents, focusing on bedside therapy management and hospital-level working protocols.
International expertise: I coordinate and deliver Pharmacology courses in French and English for international cohorts, ensuring they meet global medical standards.

Method:
I use a "Case-Based Learning" approach, supported by interactive tools to ensure concepts are not just memorized, but understood and retained. I use Excalidraw & Microsoft Whiteboard for real-time visual mapping of pharmacokinetics and complex drug-receptor interactions. This helps students "see" the mechanism of action as I draw it during our session. I integrate live quizzes and interactive polls to assess understanding instantly and keep the sessions dynamic and engaging. I guide my students in using Anki flashcards for long-term retention of drug classes and side effects, a method proven to be the gold standard for medical exams.

Topic Expertise

My expertise includes:
- General pharmacology: pharmacokinetics (ADME), pharmacodynamics, drug-receptor interactions, and toxicology.
- Systemic pharmacology: detailed therapy of cardiovascular, CNS, ANS, endocrine, gastrointestinal, and respiratory systems.
- Clinical pharmacy: Therapy optimization, drug interactions, and hospital protocols—specifically designed for residents and clinical specialists.
Exam-specific coaching: High-yield preparation for international boards such as USMLE (Step 1 Pharmacology), MIR (Spain), and the French Internat.
