About Me
I love supporting students to achieve their full potential, unlocking the joy in the subjects at all ages from 11-21, specific areas of interest (and success) are Modern History, English Literature, Oxbridge entry and school applications at 11+, 13+, 16+. I have been selected to work with schools, colleges and families worldwide including USA, China, and Europe as well as in the UK. I have expert knowledge of curricula and the exam syllabus. I have been awarded for excellence in service by the Joint Council of Qualifications for my work as an examiner in History. I also tutor in Maths and English - the latter I bring professional experience to as an experienced creative with broadcast credits as a writer, actor, editor and development consultant. The key transferable skills between education and drama include combining sharp editorial judgement with empathy and practical problem-solving.
