I'm currently studying for an MSc in Clinical Psychology at the University of Kent, having graduated with Distinction in BA (Hons) Applied Psychology from the University of Delhi.
I've been tutoring Psychology one-to-one and in small groups since January 2025, working with students across GCSE, A-Level, IB, Pearson Edexcel, Cambridge International and CBSE specifications. Alongside tutoring I've worked as a learning experience designer and curriculum designer, building personalised learning materials for over 1,800 students, and as a project psychologist for a mental health charity.
A lot of my work is with students who understand the content but lose marks in the exam, and with students who've lost confidence in the subject. I care about both — the technique and the self-belief behind it, since they tend to be the same problem.
My teaching career began in 2022 at EngConvo, where I taught English to young learners, planning lessons, designing interactive resources and assessing each child’s progress.
In 2023 I joined Supernova as a Learning Experience Designer, building more than 1,000 personalised learning modules for children aged 5 to 13 and helping improve measured learning outcomes by 15%. As a Curriculum Designer at Dehurdle, I designed programmes for over 800 learners and increased retention by 30%. This work taught me how to break difficult topics into clear, manageable steps.
Since January 2025 I have tutored Psychology at Vega Visionary, teaching students aged 14 to 18 one-to-one and in small groups across GCSE, A-Level, International Baccalaureate, Pearson Edexcel, Cambridge International and CBSE courses.
My lessons focus on what examiners actually reward. Many students know the content but lose marks because they aren’t sure what a question is asking. So we learn a topic, practise it straight away on a past-paper question, then look at what the mark scheme wanted. Every session starts with a short quiz on the last one, because quizzing is one of the most reliable ways to make knowledge stick.
I especially enjoy working with students who feel anxious about exams or have lost confidence. With them, progress comes from consistency and small, achievable steps rather than more work. Seeing themselves improve is what brings their confidence back.
For parents, I stay in regular contact about progress and keep written notes for every session, so you always know what we have covered.
Psychology — GCSE, A-Level, IB
Exam boards: Pearson Edexcel (GCSE 1PS0 and A-Level 9PS0), Cambridge International, IB Psychology, CBSE.
Topics: cognitive psychology (memory, models of memory, forgetting, reconstructive memory, eyewitness testimony); social psychology (obedience, prejudice, conformity); biological psychology (brain structure, neurotransmitters, aggression); learning theories (classical and operant conditioning, social learning theory); clinical psychology (schizophrenia, depression, addiction, diagnosis and classification); developmental psychology; research methods and data analysis.
Exam skills: AO1 knowledge, AO2 application to novel scenarios, AO3 analysis and evaluation. I work extensively on extended answers — essay structure, command word interpretation, timed practice and mark scheme decoding — which is where most students lose marks despite knowing the content.
My MSc in Clinical Psychology means I can teach the clinical and biological topics with genuine depth, which students often find the hardest part of A-Level Psychology.
