About Me

I am a full-time economics, statistics, mathematics, philosophy and psychology tutor, a Cambridge and UCL graduate, and an academic researcher. As well as two Master's degrees, in maths and philosophy, I also hold one PhD in the philosophy of maths, which focused on probabilistic arguments, and a second PhD on welfare, economics and psychology, which looked at well-being in the context of rational deliberation.

I am an experienced, reliable, and punctual tutor who delivers a personalised service, catering to the individual needs of my students in an engaging way. I have a large range of ready-made resources and extra problems and notes that I share with my students to foster their success.

I am looking to build new relationships with students for online tuition.

Tutor Experience

For the past sixteen years, I have provided tuition in economics, statistics, mathematics, psychology, and philosophy on a full-time basis, ranging from KS1 all the way through to PhD level. I have also provided coaching for Oxbridge interviews through the charity Teach First.

I have taught students from various universities including Cambridge, Oxford, LSE, and Harvard. I have also led undergraduate classes at UCL in logic and philosophy, and am a senior mentor for the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust.

Client Reviews

Don has helped me tremendously throughout the past few months to prepare for my Econometrics final exam. Don's explanations are a lot clearer than ones presented in my lectures, and he always makes an effort to explain challenging topics in an easier to interpret way.
