About Me

Hello! I’m Christian and I graduated from Oxford University in 2016 with a 2:1 in Biological Sciences (BA, Ox Hons). Before that, I attended St Albans School achieving 9 As and 3 As at GCSE and As in Biology and Maths, and As in Physics and Further Maths at A level. I then graduated from LAMDA with a distinction in Professional Acting (MA, Hons)

I'm now a professional actor and have just set up my own production company in order to produce and make short films. When I'm not acting or tutoring, I enjoy writing and going to the cinema. I'm also quite musical and like singing and playing the guitar. I played football for my college and hockey for my county, and keep fit by eating healthily, and going on runs or to the gym.

I believe through communication, honesty, empathy, and a lot of humour we can all have positive impacts on the lives of other people

Tutor Experience

I have gained over 4000 hours of experience over the last eight years of tutoring, ranging from 11+ exams to Oxbridge Entrance preperation, with lessons taking place online, in person and residentially. I specialise in Sciences and Maths, but have also helped students with study and revision techniques for various subjects including Sciences, English, Maths, Spanish, Geography, History and Extended/Higher Projects. I have been on several residential jobs within the UK and internationally (Genevea, Tuscany...) ranging from one week to two months.

I am a friendly and flexible tutor, and like to have an informal environment in my tutorials. All my lessons are based around the needs of my pupils, and I work to ensure we cover the content quickly and efficiently without leaving any gaps. In my experience, it is vitally important to build up trust and empower my tutees, so that they feel comfortable enough to make mistakes and thus improve. Positive affirmation and encouragement is essential in this. I also believe stimulating and interesting lessons mean they will look forward to lessons, and therefore be more engaged throughout.
