About Me
I'm Jess, I live in Durham and go to university at Brasenose College Oxford. During my time here I have been involved in University wide drama, including directing Ella Hickson's Eight and choreographing The Master and Margarita. I like to dance, have fun and read. I am currently a trained peer supporter in Brasenose College, and also have just been appointed Undergraduate Liaison for Target Schools. This is a student-run charity in Oxford that organises shadowing days for pupils from backgrounds less likely to get into Oxford. I am currently applying for Law vacation schemes in the hope of becoming a commercial lawyer upon graduation.
Tutor Experience
I think I make a good tutor as I truly understand what it is like to come from an educational background that provides little help to be the best that you can be. I am a trained peer supporter so know how to listen to you effectively and actually understand the problems you face! I also do like english a lot, even if it can be a hard subject - I do really enjoy tasks such as close reading or proof reading!!
