About Me
Qualified in Perugia, Italy, in 2009. Between 2018 and 2024 I worked at a busy 24 hour veterinary hospital in West Sussex (UK) as the lead exotics vet.
From July 2024 to September 2025 I have been Lecturer in Rabbit, Exotics and Wildlife Medicine and Surgery at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and The Roslin Institute, Edinburgh (UK). I am now Senior Exotic Veterinarian in a private practice in Scotland.
I have strong interest and experience in complex surgeries, dentistry and diagnostic imaging (ultrasound, radiography).
Passionate about education and wanting to teach, I obtained the GpCert(ExAP) in 2012, the PgCert(EAS) in 2019, the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCert HE), the Fellowship in Higher Education (FHEA) and the General Practitioner Advanced Certificates in Small Mammals (GPAdvCertSMP) in 2022, the Certified Aquatic Veterinarian (CertAqV) in 2024. I am RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine
I have lectured for and regularly speak at the University of Surrey, University of Perugia (Italy) and Plumpton college.
I routinely attend seminars, lectures and International Coferences (never missed an ICARE).
