I am an integrated health practitioner and professional educator with over 30 years of clinical experience and more than 15 years in higher education — a combination that makes me a genuinely different kind of tutor.
I have lectured at the University of West London and the Institute of Optimum Nutrition, designed curricula, coordinated modules, and supported learners at every stage of their professional development. I hold a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Having navigated two demanding qualification pathways — as a registered naturopath and as an accredited educator — I understand exactly what it takes. I know the journey ahead, and I will support you through it calmly and clearly.
My specialist areas include metabolic health, supplement science, hormonal health, functional nutrition, and evidence-based natural therapeutics. I am known for translating demanding clinical science into clear, practical knowledge you can immediately apply — whether you are building your foundations, deepening your clinical knowledge, or preparing for assessments. I will meet you where you are.
Outside of practice and teaching, you will find me in the garden, out in nature, or reading the latest research with a curiosity that never quite switches off. I believe that living well and staying genuinely curious about the world are at the heart of good health — and good teaching.
I have over 15 years of experience teaching and supporting adult learners across multiple UK universities, including the University of West London, the University of Worcester, the University of Brighton, and the Institute of Optimum Nutrition. I have taught at every undergraduate level from Level 4 through to supervising Level 6 dissertations, so I understand exactly what your lecturers and examiners are looking for. As a practising naturopath with over 30 years of clinical experience, I don't just teach this science — I use it every day.
