About Me
It is my educational philosophy that anything is possible and that each student has enormous potential.
I bring a dynamic, student focused approach to tutoring, based on purposeful engagement and academic success. I aim to build positive relationships, using a range of methodological strategies to meet your individual learning needs.
My 1 hour lesson includes:
- Recall activity and goal setting
- Learning input and practice
- Plenary/reflection on progress
Tutor Experience
I have taught in secondary schools and sixth forms for twenty years, specialising in Sociology and Psychology GCSE and A-level. I am a previous examiner of AQA A-level Sociology and am now enjoying the flexibility of combining my responsibilities as Head of Sociology and Psychology with my commitment to deliver high quality, individualised tutoring.
