Online Maths Tutor Samuel

Hi all,

I am a Cambridge Computer Science graduate offering Maths tuition alongside my main work as a Software Engineer at Meta. I have around 3 years of experience from tutoring on and off ever since I was 17 alongside my studies and work. I specialize in Primary School, GCSE, and A level Maths/Further Maths, as well as offering help with entrance exams to schools/universities.

For a typical lesson, I will typically start with a few quick recap questions from prior lessons just to make sure they still remember, and then we work through a set of questions together explaining any useful theory or exam strategies as we work. After a lesson, I prepare a quick recap which the student can review later between lessons just to make sure they can quickly recall the information covered and assimilate the information.

I appreciate that the rate of pay I charge per hour seems very high, but I believe it is the only rate I can charge that would justify the amount of time and attention I give to each and every student, working hard not just inside of lessons but also outside of lessons to try and guarantee the best possible results. This is simply because I am never comfortable offering a service I am not proud of. Therefore, although it is expensive what you get is a tutor with the experience, knowledge, and the right approach needed to help each student perform their best, which overall makes this a win-win.
