About Me
Since I was young I've always had an aptitude for maths and science but it wasn't until later I grew to love computers. Technology is all around us, they are the future and integral to our modern lifestyle but how much do you know about them? Can you program your toaster to do your homework??? Come find out with me!
When I'm not tutoring I work as a full stack web developer building websites from the ground up and in my spare time you'll probably find me learning a new computer language.
From November I will be studying part-time for my Masters in Mathematics.
Tutor Experience
With over 5 years tutoring experience, I specialise in tutoring students at A-level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Computer Science as well as Math university entrance exams. I also tutor Maths and Computer Science at degree level.
Last year I had a 100% A or A* grades for students I tutored with this always being in the 90% range year after year.
Some of the computer science NEAs I supported last year were: a projectile simulator, a sudoku generator and solver; and a video game; all achieving 94-97% marks.
I run my own A-level Mathematics and Computer Science revision website.
Every student is different and I strive to find to best way that each student learns and cement new knowledge by looking multiple ways of thinking about each subject. I find the best way to teach is to be energetic and show my passion for the subjects keeping lessons fun and fresh. I find students who are bored will switch off so it's important they enjoy their lesson and feed off your energy.
