About Me
I have always had a passion for teaching and helping students and have been tutoring for the past 10 years. I have specifically helped students with their ACA, Mathematics, Business & Economics exams from GCSE up to degree level.
Furthermore, I have founded and developed my own website with resources devoted to helping students nationally with their 11+ exam preparation as can be seen on www.rushresources.co.uk. This provides demonstrable experience of developing and being aware of teaching materials, which I can apply to this role.
I believe I possess strong tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics and economics having acquired a First Class in Actuarial Science from the Cass Business School and being an ICAEW ACA Chartered Accountant. I aspire to make a real difference to students and show them the ‘Rush’ way.
Tutor Experience
I have helped numerous students pass exams to gain entry to grammar and private schools including KEGGS, Henrietta Barnet, QE, Westcliff, Ilford County, Woodford County, Chigwell, Bancrofts, Forest, City of London and more! I have also developed a specialist 11+ website to help children nationally called Rush Resources.
Furthermore, I provide Maths, Economics and Business Studies Tuition up to GCSE and A Levels with an excellent Grade 8 and 9 and A* success rate. I also have experience in assisting adult learners with the ACA Accountancy exams assisting graduates at the certificate, professional and advanced level.
My sessions focus on providing students with relevant knowledge from the new curriculums, using teaching methods that suit him or her. ALL resources are provided by me, including worksheets, text books and past exam papers.
