About Me
Hi I am shahida, I am a passionate chemistry teacher with over 10 years of experience in teaching GCSE, IGCSE and A level . I have tutored 1000s of students both offline and online classes to achieve their target grade. I love to teach because it allows me to share my interest and ideas with students, hear their perspectives and watch them achieve their goals.
I have always loved chemistry and I endeavour to do the same for my students. 90% of my students have exceeded their desired grades.I thoroughly enjoyed helping the students to understand the content and clearing their doubts. I believe , when studying chemistry, understanding the entire concept and becoming comfortable with it is very important. Therefore, I tailor my teaching methods to explain a concept in a way that is suited to each student.
I love travelling especially visiting beautiful small towns in England with wonderful landscape which has inspired countless poets, painters, and playwrights over the years.
Tutor Experience
Over 10 years of teaching online and offline experience with chemistry for GCSE, IGCSE and A level, enhanced my understanding on different teaching methods and techniques to help students to succeed in their exams .. I have rich exposure to various examination boards including CIE, AQA and Edexcel both in UK and Internationally. I taught 1000s of young students from age 11 to 16 years and 94% of the students secured best test scores.
My general approach to teaching involves with a personalised study plan to help students to review key concepts and practice exams .For my first session, I seek to understand the student’s goals as well as their concerns about the study material.
