About Me
I am a British Computer Science teacher with around nine years of experience teaching in the UK and international schools in Italy and Germany.
I specialise in IB Diploma and Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science and have taught students with a wide range of abilities and academic goals. I also have examining experience in both IB and Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science, which allows me to help students understand not only the course content but also what examiners are looking for in high-quality answers.
My lessons are clear, structured and tailored to the individual student. I break difficult concepts into manageable steps, use targeted practice to identify gaps in understanding and help students develop the confidence to apply their knowledge independently.
I can help with course content, programming, exam preparation, revision strategies and IB Internal Assessment support. I am particularly experienced in helping students understand complex topics and improve the precision of their exam answers.
Outside teaching, I enjoy football, cycling, running and travelling around Europe with my family.
Tutor Experience
I am an experienced Computer Science teacher with around nine years of teaching experience across the UK and international schools in Italy and Germany.
I have taught Computer Science at secondary level, including Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Computer Science at both Standard and Higher Level. My experience includes teaching programming, computational thinking, computer systems, networks, databases, cybersecurity, object-oriented programming and abstract data structures.
I also have experience as an examiner for both Cambridge IGCSE and IB Computer Science. This gives me a strong understanding of assessment criteria, common student mistakes and how students can improve the accuracy and structure of their exam answers.
