About Me

I'm patient and encouraging.

I've work with students from all levels, from high achievers to those expelled, and find that they all respond well to being respected and challenged.

Tutor Experience

I've tutored GCSE maths and science in London schools, primarily working with expelled students. I've also taught GCSE maths at tutoring centre's, alongside teaching for IELTS (the English as a Foreign Language exam) online.

Topic Expertise

My expertise is in teaching GCSE-level Maths, alongside A-level Economics.

Its almost impossible to learn maths while stressed, so 50% of teaching it is building student's confidence. I focus on showing the student they can learn it, then build up the complexity.

Modern economics is extremely theory-heavy, so I like to place it in its historical context: Examining the economists who first devised its theories, the socio-political histories that informed them, and how they thus blended experience with ideology to create our contemporary textbooks.
