I have been teaching, both online and offline, for over 5 years. I encourage organised and strategic studying: I teach my pupils how to study for their exams, identifying knowledge gaps and refining exam technique, fundamental to achieving top grades and often overlooked in the classroom.

As a linguist and academic writer by training, I am particularly good at helping students develop a fluent writing style to produce essays which are well-structured, coherent, and finished with flair.

For me, each pupil is unique, and my individual approach caters to that diversity. I assess each pupil’s strengths and weaknesses to pinpoint how they learn best.

Since 2016, I have been associated with a number of private education consultancies, including Chelsea and Fulham Tutors, Tavistock Tutors, Pembroke Tutors and Uniadmissions. As an Oxford graduate with a First class degree, I love guiding students through the application process and expanding their knowledge and passion for their future degree. I have offered guidance with personal statement writing, studying for the MLAT/ELAT and preparing for interview. I have helped six students to enter Oxford and Cambridge, four for Modern Languages and two in English Language and Literature, with numerous others progressing to the interview stage.

Although I specialise in GCSE and A-Level tuition for English and German - many of my students have achieved 8's and 9's over the past few years - I am also an experienced 11+ tutor and have assisted over 15 students achieve places at the most competitive grammar and private schools, including Henrietta Barnett, Westminster and St. Pauls. One of my pupils, who failed in the English section of the HBS 11+ entrance test, came 4th place in the 13+ entrance round.

I specialise in tutoring English Language and Literature at GCSE, A-Level and IB. I have tutored across exam boards, including popular boards like CIE, AQA and Edexcel. At IB, I have taught both standard and higher level. I have tutored students from the age of 7 to mature students in German language and literature, including beginners German and more advanced A-Level and Oxbridge entrance tuition.

I am experienced in preparing students in all aspects of the Oxbridge/University entrance process, including personal statement writing, MLAT and ELAT entrance exams and interview preparation. On top of this, I have helped many students gain entrance to competitive grammar and private schools at 11+ and 13+ level, including HBS, NLCS, St Pauls and Westminster. I am experienced in tutoring both the CEM and GL variations.
