Suburban Mancunian upbringing but have ended up in semi-rural Shropshire via Las Palmas, Edinburgh, London and Birmingham.
Keen Physical Geographer specialising in Climatic and Tectonic Hazards. Pre- covid an avid explorer, venturing as far a field as Sapporo and Reykjavik but more recently have focused on experiencing all that the UK has to offer.
Have taught in both state and private secondary schools for the past twenty years alongside tutoring. I have experience of multiple syllabi at GCSE, A'Level and International Baccalaureate level. Have taught in Shropshire, Surrey, Edinburgh, Las Palmas, Birmingham and Manchester. My classroom approach is pupil centred investigation based learning whilst my tutoring approach is focused on confidence building through boosting understanding.
