Hello! I am a highly experienced teacher of German and French having taught both for 20 years. I have taught up to A Level in German and GCSE French, teaching students of all abilities and age ranges. I have a BA Honours degree in Business Management, German and Italian and a PGCE in German and SEN. I lived in Bavaria and studied at Regensburg University, where I further developed my love of the German language and culture. I believe that anybody can learn a language and have spent many years listening to adults say "I really wish I had worked hard in my language lessons". It has always been my mission to ensure that none of my students repeat that phrase when they are older! I recently qualified as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language on-line and feel that my teaching experience will benefit students of all ages and abilities in the new digital world of teaching. I am a bubbly, enthusiastic teacher who loves to see the 'light bulb' moment - when a student starts to feel confident in a new language. I know the challenges of learning a language, because I have learnt the languages myself - I feel this is an advantage as I know from first hand experience the issues that a new learner encounters and will be able to work alongside you to overcome them.
