I am in love with history and I spend most of my time chasing down stories from the past through my research. I write constantly - academically and for fun. Cooking is another passion of mine - I have been very lucky to spend lots of time cooking since COVID!
Aside from that, I love to play croquet and tennis, and read all kinds of books.
Hello! I have over ten years experience working with students at all levels of learning. My goal with tuition is to understand where a student is struggling - whether it is essay structure, exam anxiety, focusing in class, note-taking skills, or effective reading - and create strategies to work with each student that will target their unique problem. I am especially good at working with students who have learning disabilities or who find the traditional classroom setting to be an ineffective environment. I work with tutees to build strong and effective skills for good grade achievement, especially in essay-writing.
I am a patient and friendly person, and structure tuition sessions to keep my students engaged and interested in their subject. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
