I am in love with history and I spend most of my time chasing down stories from the past through my own academic research in the history of medicine. I write constantly - academically and for fun. I am currently completing an academic monograph on the history of vaccines, while also writing short stories and lesson plans for teaching.
Cooking is another passion of mine, I love to learn new recipes from around the world. I have two beautiful cats that often make an appearance in lessons to say hello to my students - they love to say hi!
Aside from that, I am often hiking or camping and I love to read all kinds of books.
