Hello! I was educated in Northern Ireland to GCSE and A-Level standard, after which I gained an honours degree in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics before my post-graduate teaching qualification in Scotland. I gained a Masters in Education in 2014 so as to learn more about successful teaching practices in order to have an even better understanding of different teaching theories, and ultimately become a better teacher.
I have been teaching for 13 years both in Edinburgh Scotland as well as Bermuda. I am currently the Head of my Department in the school that I teach at and I love inspiring students about mathematics!
I like to explain ideas methodically and with real world examples so as to try and enhance understanding. I have experience teaching online using a padlet so students can see exactly what I write. I have experience in teaching IB maths - DP and MYP as well as A-level, IGCSE, SAT. I am an IB examiner so understand best techniques for students to achieve highest marks! I love calculus, algebra and even some statistics!

Really good class. Managed to smooth out some of my challenges with vectors.
