About Me
Psychology is a tough topic to understand using purely theoretical examples and definitions, so the best way to overcome this obstacle is to make the most out of practical examples and common knowledge, this is what I do with my students.
My favorite area of expertise is Cognitive Psychology as it gives all of us the most examples from everyday life to illustrate theories and/or models. I continously look for new/creative ways to apply psychology into different areas of interest.
In my free time I enjoy reading books (crime), vinyl music and workout :)
Tutor Experience
I've been an IB Psychology teacher since 2009, IB Diploma Examiner (Paper 2 and EE) since 2012; Senior Examiner since 2017.
I've worked in f2f school for 13 years, since 2018 I've also started teaching IB Psychology online with the only provider approved by the International Baccalaureate Organization to teach courses online for the IB Diploma Programme!
My SL/HL students have achieved above world average grades every examination session!
I am also an experienced IB Psychology EE supervisor in both f2f and online environments.
I'm the author of a recently published book dedicated to IB Psychology students - Psychology: TestPrep Workbook (Extend Education).
Topic Expertise
I have taught all areas of IB Psychology (SL & HL), including Biological, Cognitive and Sociocultural approaches to behaviour. I can teach all HL extensions (Bio, Cog and Socio) and Paper 2 options (Abnormal, HR, Health and Developmental) - being a Senior Examiner helps a lot regarding examiners' expectations and mistakes made by candidates.
As an EE examiner and IA moderator I am fully aware of all requirements regarding well written EEs and IAs, I can assist you in the process throghout.

Mr Wielki was my tutor for Psychology SL during my IBDP (2017-2019). The classes were always

Studying IB Psychology HL it seemed very confusing at first. Everything was new and I remember feeling quite lost in the very beginning. The programme was intimidating, and the handbooks looked scary. I was very lucky to take Psychology HL with Mr Wielki during my IB studies. He takes a very straightforward and direct approach with his students and can immediately point out where you messed up and what it is that you need to work on. He’s also incredibly organized, patient, supportive, and willing to help you through these difficulties; I personally recall spending hours in his office talking through each line of my Extended Essay with him. He has an extensive knowledge and can explain even the most complex, elaborate psychological theories in plain ways and make them seem simple. I really can’t recommend Mr Wielki enough.
