About Me
I am an enthusiastic and passionate geography lover with over 4 years of teaching experience and 2 years of curriculum management and design. I have a 1st degree in Physical Geography and a Merit in International Disaster Management at Masters level, along with a Merit in PGCE.
Outstanding knowledge in both the human and physical sides of geography, with my main passion being within the geohazards, glaciers, weather, and river/coastal topics. I can also aid with essays, NEAs and exam techniques from GCSE to degree level.
Tutor Experience
Second in Humanities and Geography lead for 2 years, and teaching for over 4 years.
My tutoring experience consists of private 1:1 Geography and Economics tutoring at University, A-level, GCSE, and pre-GCSE for 40+ different students (over 400 hours) throughout my degree and beyond, with my students consistently surpassing their initial predicted grades by one or more levels.
Within my teaching approach, I will tailor lessons according to the strengths of the learner. Ensuring that a range of skills and activities are involved, not only to provide an all-round comprehensive lesson but, also to make it more fun and exciting! I am proficient in AQA, Edexcel A and B, OCR and WJEC.
